Clifton Forge
features arts, crafts, antiques, children's activities and railroad history at The C&O Heritage Center. There will be live entertainment outdoors on Saturday and at the historic Masonic Theatre each evening.

While in town, visit our fine shops or The Alleghany Highlands Arts & Crafts Center. Don't miss the quilt show at the Clifton Forge Public Library!

Covington showcases arts, crafts, great food, and live entertainment. Be sure to visit Covington's historic downtown district, Jackson River Recreation Sport Complex and the newly renovated C&O Depot on Maple Avenue. Humpback Bridge and Falling Spring are must-see local attractions. Contact the Alleghany Highlands Chamber of Commerce for information.

Douthat State Park offers history & nature programs and entertainment throughout the week. Outdoor enthusiasts and photographers will want to visit Douthat State Park with its miles of hiking & biking trails. Enjoy camping, swimming, boating, fishing and hiking there, Lake Moowmaw or on one of our beautiful rivers or streams within the highlands.
